The GCCIR works together with universities, research institutions, and academic networks in Germany and Canada to advance existing partnerships and connections, and to help forge new opportunities for researchers and students. For example, the Centre works closely with the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary, the Helmholtz-Alberta Initiative, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and the Humboldt Association of Canada, the Alberta-Saxony Intercultural Internship Alliance, and many more. We encourage and facilitate mobility and knowledge transfer at all academic levels.
